Christmas Create

This week we have been completing a Christmas Create choice board. Here are the activities I completed. I made a Maths memory course and a slide about what Christmas is all about.

I was part of the Kapa Haka group this year. there is our final performance.We performed outside Because of Covid-19

Te Whare Tapa Wha

 This year we have been learning about Te Whare Tapa Wha and how it helps us. We made a slide to show the things we do to help us for each part. We need to keep all parts of our whare strong to be happy, healthy and safe.

Term 4 Basic Facts

 We enjoy practising our basic facts each day using Prototec.  We also try and beat the clock on paper throughout the year.  Here is my Term 4 results.  I am proud of my stage 4 results

Thank you letter

 A few weeks ago, instead of our camp to Coopers Beach, we went on a day trip to KawaKawa and had a sleepover at school. Our awesome parent helpers came along to supervise us. Here is a letter I wrote to say thank you.

Vaseline Saucer

Over the  last week I been working on a  scratch  project that helps my audience understand how to google meet effectively when in a class call. We had to add our voice to the scratch project so that when someone clicks the icon it plays my voice.

Team Awa Olympic Games.

 In Team Awa we have been learning about the Olympic Games and using this in our maths.  In class we had our own mini Olympic games to help us explore measurement.   Here is a recount I wrote about this.

Movie Making

In Team Awa we had an outdoor learning day. We got to go outside and make huts around the back. We were learning about how movie making is like writing a story and that we needed to take different types of movie shots. Here is some examples of what l learned.

The Wild Wet Wellington Wind

 I liked using Garage band because it helps you with your reading.  It helps by giving you a beat so you can time your words better.  It helped me read faster and with expression.  I also read louder.  

I really really really want to do it because it helps me learn the words in the story and its makes reading fun and easier to read hard words quickly.
